Role(s) and responsibilities:
System design
Designed the physical dialogue system, defining how players interact with characters and uncover the story.
Designed and playtested the physical dollhouse interactions, enabling players to discover clues by scanning real-world objects.
Designed player feedback systems, including stylus-based input for dialogue choices, and mechanisms for investigating clues.
Narrative Design
Co-designed and developed the narrative framework with another designer, including all dialogue and clue systems.
Specifically wrote and implemented the dialogue and clue interactions for NPCs Jeremy and Marc.
Collaborated on the layout and design of all rooms and spaces within the environment
Testing
Co-Designed and executed A/B tests to evaluate player immersion and interaction.
Prepared test setups, collected quantitative and qualitative data, and analyzed results.
Concluded insights on interface, dialogue, and clue systems to improve player experience.
